The number of people and organisations who have written to the Scottish Government or Scottish Government ministers, or made contact through other means (such as phone call, social media, email, etc) asking for an extension to the Scottish Aggregates Levy consultation which began on the 26 Sept 2022 or raising objects about the time period of this consultation.

Please provide this information over the time period of this year (2022) specifying how many people and organisations did contact the Scottish Government or Ministers about this information, the means through which they contacted you (email, phone etc) and when in the year they contacted you (by month).

The answer to your question is three (3) organisations, who contacted the Scottish Government or Scottish Government Ministers as follows:

• Scottish Government officials - October 2022 (online stakeholder 'town hall' presentation session; online meeting; email with letter enclosed)
• Scottish Government Ministers - November 2022 (email to the Minister for Public Finance, Planning and Community Wealth, enclosing a copy of the letter sent to officials in October)
• Community Wealth, enclosing a copy of the letter sent to officials in October)
• Scottish Government officials - November 2022 (in-person meeting)
• Scottish Government Ministers - December 2022 (letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy, received by the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Covid Recovery in lieu; email to all Members of the Scottish Parliament, which would have been received by Ministers' Parliamentary Offices)
• Scottish Government officials - December 2022 (online meeting)
