Information requested

  1. Please provide all emails or correspondence between Nicola Sturgeon, her office, civil servants and James Dornan MSP and his office that mention BBC journalist Sarah Smith from January and February this year.
  2. Please provide any internal Scottish Government emails or correspondence between Nicola Sturgeon and other members of her cabinet that mention Sarah Smith from January and February this year.
  3. Please provide any emails or correspondence between media outlets and the Scottish Government that mention Sarah Smith from January and February, including requests for comments.
  4. Please provide any emails or correspondence between members of the public and the Scottish Government that are complaints about MSP James Dornan from 2017-2022.

Request 1

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. A search was completed and no e-mails and correspondence was found within the parameters of your request.

Request 3

A search was conducted and 2 e-mails were found where Sarah Smith was mentioned. Copies of the e-mails are attached. Please be aware an exemption under Section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. The exemption relates to personal data whereby disclosure would contravene data protection principles. This information has been redacted.
