Cultural engagement in Scotland: what is it and why does it matter?
This report provides evidence on cultural engagement in Scotland from 2019 - 2024. It draws on a range of data, from both the Scottish Household Survey and qualitative research, to explore attitudes and behaviours for different people and places across Scotland.
Annex B: Changes to the 2022 Scottish Household Survey questionnaire
As part of a substantial review of the whole SHS questionnaire, the response categories for culture and heritage were amended for the 2022 survey to better understand the nature and frequency of attendance and participation at cultural events, places and activities.
