Delivery Assurance Group (DAG) report: regulatory period 2015 to 2021
Report summarising what has been achieved for Scottish Water customers during the regulatory period 2015 to 2021.
Annex A: Outputs Tables
The tables below show the actual performance at the end of the period versus the Delivery Plan target (pre COVID-19) with programme specific explanations provided. As noted previously, this has been significantly disrupted by the impact of COVID-19.

Number of water treatment works improved
This milestone is 11 outputs behind the planned target for SR15. Five of these achieved beneficial use (Savalbeg, Roberton, Black Esk, Howden WTW Chloramination and Papa Stour) and 1 is in supply but has yet to formally achieve sign-off.
Number of enhancements to improve reliability of supply (catchments and treatment)
28 outputs were achieved against a target of 42.
Number of enhancements to improve reliability of supply (networks and storage)
66 outputs were achieved against a period-end target of 83.
2010-15 outputs planned to complete in the 2015-21 period
4 projects are forecasting to achieve sign-off later than planned: Dalwhinnie, Picketlaw, Kirbister & Tomatin which is currently in supply.
Water supply resilience strategy and improvements made
This milestone is 3 outputs behind the planned target for SR15. 3 projects (Eela to Sullom Voe, Ayrshire Strategic Resilience – C1a and South Edinburgh Resilience) are forecasting Regulatory Sign-off later than planned.
Number of zones with improved security of supply (SOSI)
This milestone is 2 outputs behind the planned target. 3 projects are forecasting delivery later than planned (West Lewis and Kyle of Lochalsh). A further 2 projects (Stornoway and South Uist) are planned for delivery post March 2021.

Flood Risk Management Act - models and integrated catchment studies | 216 | 218 |
Number of WwTW improved to meet UWWTD
This programme is 3 outputs behind the planned period end target of 26. 3 projects (Easdale Seaview Cottages, Dalmarnock, Daldowie) are forecasting delivery later than planned.
Number of improvements required to meet UWWTD - Glasgow completion
This programme has been significantly impacted by Covid-19 delays and is 14 outputs behind the planned period-end target.
Number of improvements required to meet the Water Framework Directive
This programme is 18 outputs behind the planned period end target of 23. This is due to four projects forecasting delivery later than planned (Kaim, Galashiels Manse Street (3 outputs), Burncrooks (5 outputs), and Amlaird (9 outputs)). One project, Turrif WRZ, was delivered early. The revised strategy for Ayrshire water supplies means keeping Amlaird WTW temporarily in operation to allow Scottish Water to more effectively manage the resilience of the supply of drinking water to customers from this system. As a consequence, Scottish Water has missed these outputs as they are dependent on the completion of the Ayrshire Resilience scheme.
Number of environmental studies to inform future periods
128 outputs were achieved against a period end target of 130.
Number of improvements required by the Compliance Assessment Scheme (CAS); odour reduction and sludge management
A total of 54 outputs were achieved against a period end target of 94. The delivery of the CAS programme has been significantly delayed due to COVID restrictions.
2010-15 outputs planned to complete in the 2015-21 period
1 project (Rockcliffe) is forecasting delivery later than planned.
