Deposit Return Scheme – gateway review: report – June 2021
This is an evidence-based snapshot of the status of the Deposit and Return Scheme (DRS) for Scotland programme carried out by an independent review team on 14-16 June 2021. It was performed as part of the Scottish Government’s review into the implementation timetable for DRS.
2.0 Purpose of the Gateway Review
Annex B gives the full purposes statement for a standard Gateway Review 0. Further to the standard purpose, this Review will pay particular attention to the delivery schedule for the DRS, especially in-light of the impact of COVID-19. It will give an opinion on the likelihood of existing key milestones being met and a deliverable timetable for the Scheme.
