Please supply all items of information held in relation to the briefing prepared for the Deputy First Minister for his meeting/video conference with John Glen MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, on 27 October 2022, and all notes and records of the event.

This is listed in the Scottish Government's ministerial engagements. This should include all material prepared for the Deputy First Minister in preparation for the meeting/video conference, including papers, emails and media clippings, and all notes and records of the meeting/call, including any media recordings and transcripts.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption(s) under section(s) under section 28(1) (release of this information would be likely to prejudice substantially relations between any administration in the UK), s.30(b)(i) (provision of free and frank advice) and s30 (b) (ii) (free and frank exchange of views for the purposes of deliberation), and s.38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why that exemption(s) applies are explained in the Annex to this letter.
