Detect Cancer Earlier marketing campaign: evaluation report 2023/2024

An overview of the Detect Cancer Earlier campaign which ran from 18 September to 22 October 2023, including independent evaluation results.


12. Conclusion

The second burst of the ‘Be the Early Bird’ campaign has performed strongly and results indicate that it has built on the success of the first outing of the campaign.

Careful consideration of the timing of the campaign to avoid other cancer campaigns / media messages competing for attention appears to have worked well. The updated call to action seems to have also encouraged action.

The new case study inspired by the previous phase of the campaign performed well on social media and the website, with this story demonstrating the potential impact of the campaign on earlier detection.
