Detect Cancer Earlier marketing campaign: evaluation report 2023/2024

An overview of the Detect Cancer Earlier campaign which ran from 18 September to 22 October 2023, including independent evaluation results.


7. PR activity

PR was used to bring a human voice to the campaign, highlighting the direct link between taking action and a greater chance of living well again.

This link tells the story of someone who contacted her GP practice in response to the campaign in March. She was diagnosed and successfully treated for breast cancer. This was the lead PR story for this second burst of the campaign.
