Summary /Themes

Most of respondents who provided further comment at Question 16B were supportive. There was general consensus among these responses that this would be a proportionate approach.

The theme of resourcing came through in some responses, with agreement that not all amendments to LDPs should require a Play Sufficiency Assessment on the basis of the effective use of resources, favouring the proposed proportionate approach.

Unsupportive and neutral responses generally shared the consensus that this would be dependent on the amendment and its relevance.
