Devolved social security benefits: stakeholder engagement toolkit
Overview of the delivery of devolved benefits, delivery timetable, factsheets and information on spreading the word about devolved benefits.
Delivery Timetable
What is happening next and when?
Due to the impact on the Scottish Government, Social Security Scotland and all of our public services of managing Scotland through the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to take the extremely difficult decision to delay the launch of Scottish Disability Assistance. The Department for Work and Pensions will deliver disability benefits on behalf of Scottish Ministers for existing and new Scottish clients over a longer transition period in order to ensure people continue to get the financial support they are entitled to. We are currently undertaking a Programme-wide re-planning process to determine a firm delivery timetable for the benefits that have not yet transferred. The dates listed as ‘TBC’ will be updated to reflect the new delivery dates when they are available.
