7. Conclusion

Scottish Ministers have had regard to best available evidence and conclude that, provided the prohibition of sandeel fishing throughout all Scottish waters, any remaining fishing activities within the North-west Orkney NCMPA would not hinder the conservation objectives of this Nature Conservation Marine Protected Area.
