However, there are still large gaps compared with all pupils

Leaver Attainment

  • 35% Looked after school leavers with 1 or more qualification at SCQF level 5
  • up from 23% in 2012/13
  • compared with 85% all pupils 2018/19

Leaver Destinations

  • 71% Looked after school leavers in positive follow up destinations
  • up form 63% in 2012/13
  • compared with 93% all pupils 2018/19

School attendance

  • 87% for pupils looked after within the last year
  • down from 89% in 2012/13
  • compared with 93% all pupils 2018/19

School Exclusions

  • 152 per 1,000 looked after pupils
  • down from 280 in 2012/13
  • compared with 22 all pupils 2018/19
