Emergency Department Weekly Activity and Waiting Times in Scotland: Week ending 17/05/2015

2. Main findings

Over the week ending 23:59 on Sunday the 17^th May -

• There were 25,780 attendances to Scotland's 32 Emergency Departments.
• The proportion of attendances to those 32 Emergency Departments that were seen and subsequently admitted, transferred or discharged within 4 hours was 92.0%.
• 212 patients (0.8%) spent more than 8 hours and 47 patients (0.2%) spent more than 12 hours in the 32 Emergency Departments.
