Emergency Department Weekly Activity and Waiting Times in Scotland: Week ending 22/02/2015

2. Main findings

Over the week ending 23:59 on Sunday the 22^nd February -

• There were 25,554 attendances to Scotland's 32 Emergency Departments.

• The proportion of attendances to those 32 Emergency Departments that were seen and subsequently admitted, transferred or discharged within 4 hours was 86.1%.

• 689 patients (2.7%) spent more than 8 hours and 187 patients (0.7%) spent more than 12 hours in the 32 Emergency Departments.
