Energy Efficient Scotland: area based schemes: EIR release

Information requested

1. The budget allocation per area/local authority for area based scheme activity in 2021/22.
2. How much of those budgets was an accrual of agreed budget from 2020/21 per local authority area.
3. The level of accrual of budget allocated for 2021/22 carried forward into 2022/23 per local authority area.
4. The actual underspend/overspend per local authority area in 2021/22.
5. The current forecast spend for area based schemes per local authority for 2022/23.

2. Zero of this budget for 21/22 was from 20/21 accruals
3. Included in attached table any accrued funds from the 2021/22 budget has no effect on the level of grant awarded for 2022/23

5. At the moment we expect full spend, however we will be approaching councils in the next few weeks to confirm what underspend they expect to have, or whether they can deliver more with additional funding.
