Overview of key facts and trends relating to energy in Scotland for Q3 2022.

Energy Consumption

Consumption of electricity between 2021 and 2020 increased overall by 0.1% driven by the non-domestic sector, which increased by 6.3%. In comparison, the domestic sector decreased by 5.8%.

Gas consumption decreased by 3.3% in the same time period, with decreased in both sectors.
