Total Final Energy Consumption

 

Total gas consumption in Scotland in 2023 has declined from 43.6 TWh in 2022 to 42.7 TWh 2023. This is now at 70% of 2005 consumption (60.9 TWh).

 

Final electricity consumption in Scotland also continues to fall, with 21.8 TWh consumed in 2023. Electricity consumption in Scotland is now 74% of 2005 consumption (29.5 TWh).
