The scope of the Equality Impact Assessment

The scope of this EQIA is to look at the impact the amendment regulations will have on people living in Scotland who are in receipt of any of the devolved benefits that carry a right of appeal. However, in practice, people in receipt of disability benefits will be the most likely to be affected. Therefore, this EQIA will focus on the potential impact of this policy on Scottish people in receipt of devolved disability benefits.
