Equality and Human Rights Mainstreaming Strategy: Consultation - Easy Read
Easy Read version of the Consultation on Scottish Government's Equality and Human Rights Mainstreaming Strategy. The Strategy will guide the Government, the wider public sector, and our partners to improve embedding equality, inclusion, and human rights into all that we do
Theme 4. Using information from people’s experiences and evidence
Evidence is information that proves what is true.
We want to use evidence and experience to make policies better.
This means:
- asking the people who are affected by the policies
- working with and listening to marginalised communities - groups of people who might be forgotten about or left out of making decisions
