All registered ELC managers/lead practitioners must either hold the SCQF level 9 benchmark qualification or agree that their registration is subject to a condition that they secure this within their first period of registration. For practitioner grade, the benchmark qualification is SCQF level 7, and for support workers, the benchmark qualification is SCQF Level 6.
