Fair Work First - conditionality in public sector grants: business and regulatory impact assessment

This business and regulatory impact assessment (BRIA) builds on the BRIA of the refreshed Fair Work action plan and anti-racist employment strategy (April 2023) which considered the impacts of Fair Work First (FWF) conditionality alongside the other actions in the action plan and strategy. This further BRIA looks at the impacts of FWF.

9. Test Run of Business Forms

The introduction of conditionality does not require new business forms. The process builds on existing practices and procedures and is a matter for public sector grant managers to make operational.

However, to ease implementation, a range of templates have been published on the Scottish Government website alongside Fair Work First Guidance which those involved in the award and receipt of grants may wish to use.[21] Templates were designed with input from relevant stakeholders, including COSLA.
