CalMac need to determine operational impact but SG noted that great work has been done from FMPG in this regard. 17 defects have been cleared so far and work remains ongoing to clear as many snags as are being raised - these are different to ORs and are picked up compartmentally (action – FMPG / CMAL).

a025 - remains ongoing and unchanged but CalMac are freeing up space for the transfer of Spares [REDACTED] (action – FMPG).

a026 – warranty process development – new action added to the log.  The estimated cost to have budget set aside is needed by a proposal from FMPG to SG. This work will tie in with 802 for efficiency (action – FMPG).

Hot topics

Engines overhaul - FMPG will need to get this done after the trial (07 May). Request from SG for this to submitted in an email.

Equipment / software - warranties will be updated on this prior to handover of the vessel and the work on the list of obsolescence remains ongoing.

Praxxis training – control room given over to crew for training purposes needs to be highlighted in the programme as another action.

LNG pipework - [REDACTED] – data on this needs to be updated. [REDACTED] are confident that they will complete the work by 05 May. FMPG to produce a report on what work has been done and what is still to be done. Remaining X-Rays and other work has been worked on and FMPG need scaffolding removed and a 4-5 week window to finish with two teams of 17 to work on compartments. Great amount of work has been completed on this so far. Pipework will be complete by 05 May, trials on 07 May, and drying/cooling of the system will begin on the 08 May. Meeting on 07 May will be cancelled due to Trials – update on LNG work by correspondence will be needed to go from FMPG to SG (and working group) instead. Discussion on the tankers for handover to CalMac – CalMac took this away to look into.

Crew onsite / training - CMAL requested a further meeting to get the crew onsite for further training to determine the most efficient way of slotting it into the programme. SG noted that capitalisation of the cost of the crew needs to be considered and when to call the crew in needs to be considered in parallel. Meeting to discuss the above and MNS / MCA requirements needs to be scheduled.

Any other business

Nothing raised.

Meeting end.
