Ferguson Marine Risk Register detail in relation to the November, December and January: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

Ferguson Marine Risk Register detail in relation to the November, December and January updates of the progress on the work on Hull 801 and 802 at Ferguson Marine. This has been started to be omitted from updates after being published before.

Response

I enclose copy of the information you have requested in relation to Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow’s Risk Register. I note your comments regarding these details being omitted from the monthly performance reports, however, I hope you will accept that it is entirely normal for changes to be made, over time, in the way in which long term programmes of work report their progress.

It is good practice for organisations to consider risk, and risk reporting on a regular basis as part of its normal flow of management information about the organisation’s activities. Further information can be found on our official publications website via the following link: Risk management - Scottish Public Finance Manual

To that end, a standalone risk register has been developed by the programme team at Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow. This is updated as required and is no longer sent to the Scottish Government as part of the monthly programme report. It is not therefore being published pro-actively each month.

While our aim is to provide you information wherever we can, on this occasion we are unable to provide you with all of the information you have requested as statutory exemptions under FOISA apply. Further information regarding these exemptions can be found in the annex below.
