• Information contained in meetings, communications, documents and discussions between Gillian Thompson the Judicial Complaints Reviewer and the Scottish Government in the following terms:

• The numbers of meetings in Ms Thompson's term with Scottish Government employees or Ministers to the date of this FoI request, which Scottish Government employees or Ministers have met with the Judicial Complaints Reviewer Gillian Thompson, who was present at the meeting, where the meetings took place. This FoI excludes meetings already disclosed in a previous FoI.

Response

1. Some of the information you have requested was made available to you previously in our responses to your previous FoI requests, FoI/15/00702 on 1 June 2015 and FoI/17/01251 on 30 June 2017.

2. Gillian Thompson met with Jan Marshall, Deputy Director on 30 September 2014 at St Andrews House, Edinburgh. She met the then Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill, on 2 October 2014 at the Scottish Parliament. She also met the then Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs, Paul Wheelhouse, on 14 January 2015 at the Scottish Parliament, when two Scottish Government officials (private secretary and an officer below senior civil service grade) were in attendance.
