• An annual breakdown from 2011-2017.

• A breakdown by region and age.

While our aim is to provide information wherever possible, in this instance Education Scotland does not hold or collate the information.

However, Scottish Government Statistics already publish the information you are looking for and I have attached the link below, that contains the data you requested.

Please note that the data is only collected every two years, so there is no annual breakdown and the latest data available is for 2014-15.
