Information requested
Information on the time delay between the imposition and start of community payback order work placements for the year 2016-17. You also asked for the number of work placements starting within 2-3/3-4/over 4 months and the longest single delay for 2013-14 to 2016-17 and 2017-18 so far.
We are currently able to provide this information for 2013-14 to 2015-16. However, it is not available at this point in time for the later period as we have not yet processed the data we receive from local authorities.
The timescales taken for starting community payback order work placements and the longest time for each year are shown in the table below. There will be a range of reasons why work placements are subject to delays in starting.
Time between imposition of order and start of work placement | 2013-14 | 2014-15 | 2015-16 |
---|---|---|---|
Over 2 months – 3 months | 215 | 296 | 412 |
Over 3 months – 4 months | 143 | 152 | 176 |
Over 4 months | 298 | 276 | 338 |
Longest length between order imposition and start of placement (in days) | 2013-14 | 2014-15 | 2015-16 |
---|---|---|---|
450 | 511 | 389 |
