Details of any correspondence exchanged between the Scottish Government - including ministers, ministers' staff, civil servants and special advisers – and anyone at the Fraser of Allander Institute regarding the September 2017 Economic Commentary or Scotland's Budget 2017 documents prior to publication of those documents. Information should include any emails and phone calls including the topic of conversation and any minutes or notes taken.
Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested. It is a common practice for external bodies such as Audit Scotland and academic or research institutes such as the Fraser of Allander to request comments on the factual accuracy of draft reports ahead of publication. The emails are attached in chronological order, by the most recent e-mail in the chain.
