The latest figure of the cost of delivering the Baby box scheme both:

1. in its first year and;

2. in the full four years of the current contract.

The answer to your question is -

Total yearly projected Baby Box related costs:

2017/18 - £8 million
2018/19 - £8.8 million
2019/20 - £8.8 million
2020/21 - £8.8 million

The value of the contract with APS Group (Scotland) is £35.3 million over the potential life of the contract (four operational years) equating to approximately £8.8 million per year. This is made up of the following costs: Baby Box contents, Distribution Centre Activity, Delivery Charges, Contract Management, Customer Contact Centre costs, Print costs, Operating Margin.
