Please can I have a copy of the analysis mentioned in the following link which looked at the improved journey times: M8 journeys cut by 20 minutes

Also, can I have a copy of the report or workings of how you arrived at the £1bn figure as per:

"The journey time savings have been assessed as contributing more than £1bn to Scotland's economy"

Please find attached a copy of the journey time saving analysis completed as part of the project. With regard to your request for a copy of the report or workings of how the journey time savings have been assessed as contributing more than £1bn to Scotland's economy, please below table, provided by Mochel Fairhurst Joint Venture (MFJV), Transport Scotland's advisors on the project.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Transport Scotland does not have some of the information you have requested, the economic savings analysis was undertaken by MFJV and the results of this were provided to Transport Scotland.
