Response
The Scottish Government conducted work on the policy of an independent Scotland up to the independence referendum on 18 September 2014 through the publication of the white paper, Scotland's Future, published in November 2013 and by holding a number of public engagement events, supporting Ministers in setting out their policy on independence. Cost information on this activity is in the public domain in responses to Parliamentary Questions and in publications on the Scottish Government website.
