Information requested

1. The number and nature of the contracts awarded to Daniel Sellers by Education Scotland while being the Chair of Learning Link Scotland.

2. Mr Sellers' position as Chair of Learning Link Scotland and whether or not this position allows him to bid for tenders relating to the on-going implementation of Education Scotland/Scottish Government policy.

Response

1. Daniel Sellers was acting Chair of Learning Link Scotland from 16 June 2016 and became Chair on 20 January 2017. Education Scotland has recently awarded a contract of £19.5k to a company which intends to sub-contract part of the work to Mr Sellers. The contract is for services to develop and provide support for Adult Achievement Awards.
