Information requested

1. What is the current pay scale for an equivalent EO/Civil Service level 2 in Scottish Government departments?

2. What grade will FES/FCS pb5 ops foresters, be transferred into, under the Scottish government?

3. Will those working in the current FES/FCS regain their progression pay in April 2019?

Response

1. Within Scottish Government, the equivalent grade for an EO is a B1. The current salary band for this grade is £23,617 - £26,713 per annum.

2 and 3. Under the Cabinet Office Statement of Practice on Transfers in the Public Sector (COSoP), staff are entitled to transfer on their existing terms and conditions of employment.

Any changes to terms and conditions would be subject to negotiation with the recognised trade unions.
