You asked for a note of the companies invited to tender for a contract for storage, scanning and disposal services notified via the Public Scotland Contracts website on 16th January 2018.

Response

The requirement has been procured as a call-off contract under Lot 2 of the Scottish Government's "Framework for Supported Businesses and Factories". For more information on this framework agreement, please refer to:

Invitations to tender were issued on 16th May 2017 to the two companies then on Lot 2 of the agreement: City Building Contracts/RSBi and Haven Products Ltd.

Between the issuing of invitations to tender and the tender return date of 22nd September 2017, the framework agreement was extended by a period of 12 further months. For more information on this extension, please refer to:

Shortly after the announcement of this extension, City Building Contracts/RSBi withdrew from Lot 2 of the framework agreement, and they did not submit a tender for this requirement. One tender was therefore received, from Haven Products Ltd, to whom a contract was subsequently awarded.
