Information requested
Any correspondence between any minister or staff member of Culture, Tourism and Major Events Directorate and Creative Scotland regarding Freight Publishing or Freight Graphics (FREIGHT DESIGN (SCOTLAND) LIMITED of 49 Virginia Street, Glasgow, G1 1TS) between July, 2010 and September 2017'.
Response
Please find attached the requested information. An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to a small amount of the information requested because it is the personal data of a third party, i.e the names of Scottish Government and Creative Scotland employees, and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Schedule 1 to the Data Protection Act 1998. This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
