Response
I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.
1. In response to Q7 the Scottish Government does not have an electronic recording system that can link health and mental health data (i.e. diagnosis of ADHD, ASD; prescription of medications) and employment data.
The Scottish Government does hold and publish data related to employability services which contain some information on health conditions. /publications/scotlands-devolved-employment-services-work-first-scotland-work-scotland-2017-9781788516792/
2. In response to Q8-10 the Scottish Government does not have any specific employment targets for the groups ADHD, ASD, ASN.
There is are 2 relevant Scottish Government target which are shown below:
to reduce by more than half, the Disability Employment Gap, published: http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2016/12/3778/downloads#res-1and
Developing the Young Workforce has a KPI (KPI 10): Increase the employment rate for young disabled people to the population average by 2021, published: /publications/developing-young-workforce-scotlands-youth-employment-strategy-third-annual-progress/pages/9/
Although we do not have specific targets for these groups, disabled people are priority groups for a number of Scottish Government employability services, including Scotland's Employer Recruitment Incentive and Community Jobs Scotland which are available for young people. Fair Start Scotland – our new devolved employment service will commence in April this year and support at least 38,000 people over three years of referrals. Disabled people are a priority for this support, which will provide up to 12 month pre-work support (extending to 18 months in some circumstances) and 12 months in-work support.
