Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
FOI reference: FOI/18/00991
Date received: 28 March 2018
Date responded: 19 April 2018
Information requested
I would like to submit an FOI for the business case for the centre for regional inclusive growth; for how far the Scottish Government is into the development of the website and for expected costs and spending to date for the project.
Response
I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you requested. The reasons why we don't have the information are explained below.
The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for relating to expected costs (beyond initial estimates for the website in the website business case) and spending to date for the project because procurement of the website is on-going and as the functions and remit of the centre are still being developed with partners, it is not possible to estimate future costs at this time. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
