With regard to your request for copies of communication relating to the vacant position of Chief Executive of NHS Grampian, I attach a copy of a letter sent by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport to conservative MSPs on 26 June which outlines senior leadership changes within NHS Grampian following the vacancy created by the appointment of Malcolm Wright as Chief Executive of NHS Tayside.
The Scottish Government has no plans to merge health boards.
