Correspondence regarding redevelopment of David Livingstone Centre: FOI release

Any correspondence received or sent by any minister or employee of the Scottish Government since 5 September 2017 regarding the Scottish Government’s support, financial or otherwise, for the redevelopment of the David Livingstone Centre at Blantyre.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some details relating to the information you have requested because exemptions under sections s.33(10(b) Commercial Interests and s.38(1)(b) Personal Information of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why the exemptions apply are also explained below.

An exemption under section, s.38(1)(b) Personal information of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. This relates to personal data, which if disclosed would contravene data protection regulations.

This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.

An exemption under section, s.33(1)(b) Commercial interests of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested.

This exemption applies because it relates to sensitive bank details.
