Information requested
You asked for all correspondence to and from Scottish Ministers and representatives of the Government of Pakistan (this includes any authorities acting on behalf of the Pakistan state for example consulates, other diplomatic positions, police, courts etc.) between 1st January 2004 and 31st December 2006.
Response
Most of the information you have requested is contained in your request for all information and any correspondence held by the Scottish Government that relates to the extradition of Imran Shahid, Zeeshan Shahid and Mohammed Faisal Mushtaq [FoI/18/03202], the response to which is forthcoming.
I have attached at Annex A a copy of a letter sent from former First Minister Jack McConnell to President General Pervez Musharraf in October 2005.
