You asked for a list of the concrete actions the Scottish Government and Derek Mackay MSP have taken since learning of Michelin’s decision to close their Dundee plant, specifically a chronology of the relevant Directorate and Minister's attempts to save jobs, covering phonecalls, emails, letters, meetings etc.

You will note that this includes a link to the statement by Derek Mackay MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Economy and Fair Work to the Scottish Parliament on 6 November, announcements made on 6, 9, 12 and 30 November, and a Parliamentary Question on 15 November, for ease of reference. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
