The total cost of the creation and maintenance of the following website: https://www.parentclub.scot/
You requested the information includes:
1. The cost (initial and annual) of the domain name.
2. The cost of the design and creation of the website (including components such as Graphical User Interface, items on the page, background etc., as well as the cost of the hours spent by the creator and other costs).
3. The time taken to create the website from start to finish.
4. The cost of advertisements associated with this website (on television, social media, newspapers etc.).

The full annual cost of the related domain names are as follows:

2. The cost of the design and creation of the website (including components such as Graphical User Interface, items on the page, background etc., as well as the cost of the hours spent by the creator and other costs).
The cost of the Parent Club website to date, as of 23 January 2019, is £177,553.20 (inc VAT).
Work to date has included the consolidation of three existing Scottish Government websites and the addition of new content on a number of topic areas which previously would have required new websites saving an estimated £288,136 (inc VAT) in 2018/19. The Parent Club website underpins the parental audience marketing strategy which aims to reduce duplication, increase effectiveness and cost efficiencies by bringing previously disparate campaigns under a central strategy.
3. The time taken to create the website from start to finish.
The website was created by Union Digital through the Scottish Government Marketing Services Framework 2016 who have recorded 2031 hours against this project. These hours are accounted for in the costs detailed above.
4. The cost of advertisements associated with this website (on television, social media, newspapers etc.).
The total cost of advertising associated with Parent Club to date, as of 23 January 2019, has been £555,187.98 (ex VAT). This cost includes the delivery of the Primary Years behaviour change campaign which consolidates the existing Eat Better Feel Better and Read Write Count and Play,Talk,Read campaigns to support the Scottish Government objectives of raising educational attainment and tackling childhood obesity.
This advertising spend represents a saving compared with running individual campaigns;
