Date of notification of additional increase in Barnett formula funds: FOI release

I would like to request when the Scottish Government was notified of the additional increase in Barnett formula funds approx £90M from the UK government. as announced by Derek MacKay in parliament on Thursday 31st Jan.

Response

 

Derek Mackay informed the Finance and Constitution Committee on 06 February, during the 4th Finance and Constitution Committee Meeting, that HM Treasury initially notified Scottish Government officials of the 2018-19 UK Supplementary Estimate consequentials on Friday 25 January.  Upon seeking further clarifications, officials were given formal confirmation of these figures on Monday 28 January.
