You asked for information about the Task Group which undertook a Review of Licensing Provisions contained in the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982.

Response

The answer to your question is Ministers established the independent Task Group in 2001. Following a consultation in 2002, the Group published its Report and recommendations in December 2004.
