Information requested
You asked for the following information:
0. The total number of Trust Deeds granted per Trustee/Company/Practice from 01/01/2019 to 31/08/2019
1. The number of Trust Deed Form 1s registered with the AiB in 2018 and 2019, and which Company (Insolvency Practitioner/practice) registered the forms
2. The number of Trust Deeds registered with the AIB as protected in 2018 and 2019, and which Company (Insolvency Practitioner/practice) was responsible for registering same
3. The average debtor contribution payments per month, in a Trust Deed and in a Debt Arrangement Scheme case for 2018 and 2019
4. The average debt levels in a Trust Deed and in a Debt Arrangement Scheme case for 2018 and 2019.
Response
I enclose a copy of all the information you requested, detailed below and attached in the Excel spreadsheet. Note that while all the information requested is available, for some parts of your request there will be differences in time period requested.
The provisional 2019-20 Q2 data (covering the period July to September 2019) is currently being prepared as part of the Scottish Quarterly Insolvency Statistics 2019-20 Q2 report. This report will be published on Wednesday 23 October 2019, and further detailed statistics (subject to data availability and disclosure check control) will be available on request afterwards. Hence, under section 27(1) of FOISA we do not have to provide information which is already planned to be released.
Hence, data for 2019 is based on between 01 January 2019 and 30 June 2019.

We do not hold information on the total number of trust deeds granted as records are not retained on trust deeds that are granted, but do not go on to be protected.

The number of protected trust deeds (PTDs) advertised by company in 2018 and 2019 (01/01/2019 to 30/06/2019) is shown in the following table. Information is shown on a calendar year basis and based on the advertised date for the PTD.
