Information requested
‘copies of any and all correspondence (emails, typed or handwritten notes or electronic, letters, phone calls, minutes of meetings, reports, loan drawdown assurance reports, documents or otherwise) between Scottish Government ministers, senior civil servants, Scottish Government senior lawyers, and any Scottish Government wholly own agencies and the like (including but not limited to Transport for Scotland and Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited) and QI Ltd, VATIS Ltd, Luke van Beek, and all other special advisers to the Scottish Government on the topic of the various loans made by the Scottish Government to Ferguson Shipyard/Ferguson Marine Engineering Limited/Jim McColl (including but not limited to the project poseidon commercial loan) between 09 March 2019 and the date of appointment of Joint Administrators of Ferguson Shipyard/Ferguson Marine Engineering Limited on 16 August 2019.’

We consider that it is reasonable to withhold the information until that date, rather than release some this information before the planned publication date. This exemption refers to the note mentioned in the attached email exchange.
