Information requested
Any documentation pertaining to the meeting between Nicola Sturgeon and Benny Higgins on 24.6.19. This should include any minutes, agenda, briefings, notes of conversations (including telephone) or any other documentation pertaining to the meeting.
Response
Some of the information you requested is attached. Liz Ditchburn, Director General Economy and David Ritchie, Deputy Director, Scottish National Investment Bank Directorate attended the meeting in place of David Wilson.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 30(b)(i) and 30(b)(ii) (free and frank exchange of views for the purposes of deliberation) and 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained in the Annex.
The Scottish Government does not hold any of the other information you have requested (minutes, agenda, notes of conversations (including telephone) or any other documentation pertaining to the meeting) beyond the date and venue of the meeting, attendees and the briefing. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the further information you have requested.
