1. Which person/people are directly responsible for the funding allocation to Rape Crisis Scotland?
2. What is the Scottish Government’s view regarding Margaret Curran being a board member of Rape Crisis Scotland; having previously been a leading member of Better Together?
3. How much are each of the board members of Rape Crisis Scotland paid from the funding allocation?

ANNEX A
Question 1 – Which person/people are directly responsible for the funding allocation to Rape Crisis Scotland?
Decisions on funding allocations are made by Scottish Ministers; specifically the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, the Cabinet Secretary for Social Security and Older People, and the Deputy First Minister.
Question 2 – What is the Scottish Government’s view regarding Margaret Curran being a board member of Rape Crisis Scotland; having previously been a leading member of Better Together?
The governance of Rape Crisis Scotland is a matter for the organisation not the Scottish Government. In this case RCS appoint their own board members through a combination of external recruitment and network recruitment. The Scottish Government do not have a view on the board membership of Rape Crisis Scotland. You can view guidance on good practice for charity trustees here.
Question 3 – How much are each of the board members of Rape Crisis Scotland paid from the funding allocation?
