Information requested
What financial support the Scottish Government has provided the self-catering hospitality industry since the change in the guidance came into force on Friday 25 September
Response
There have been no new financial support measures introduced for the self-catering hospitality industry since the change in guidance came into force on Friday 25th September. However, VisitScotland is still administering a £1.5m grants scheme to provide £10k grants to self-catering operators who have received no other grant assistance under covid schemes. The scheme is now closed to applicants but grants are being paid out at present. See
https://www.visitscotland.org/supporting-your-business/funding/coronavirus-self-catering-support (note: a further £500k was added to the fund which was initially £1m, as described on this webpage).
