Details of the total cost of the work of and Report from the Fireworks Review Group, including details of all staff costs, fees and expenses payments made.
Response
1. The total cost of the work and report form the Firework Review Group is £5,704.71, all of which represents additional costs to the Scottish Government. Further detail and a breakdown of these costs can be found at Annex A.
2. The Scottish Government does not record the time that civil servants spend on particular tasks within their normal duties, as there is no business need to do so. This is a long-standing policy which has been referred to publicly in numerous answers to Parliamentary Questions and responses for FOI requests. As these records are not kept, the Scottish Government does not hold the information on staff costs you requested.
