Information requested
Details of the Scottish Government's intention to re-accredit the Investors in People standard and the expected cost to do so.
Provide an explanation why the Investors in People accreditation has been allowed to lapse, and if there is a plan to re-accredit to the standards?
Response
The Scottish Government is working closely with Remarkable, the organisation that carries out Investors in People and Inestors in Young People accreditation in Scotland. An assessment to re-accredit Scottish Government against both these sets of standards is planned for April/May 2021. This accreditation was postponed in 2020 as the Scottish Government prioritised Covid and Brexit related work within the organisation.
